Pascal Leclaire Preseason Debut

Goaltender Pascal Leclaire will be making his preseason debut tonight against the Montreal Canadiens. We'll get a chance to see Alex Kovalev play as he is coming off of major knee surgery which caused him to miss the playoffs last season. I expect a close game tonight as the two rivals will battle it out. Click here to see tonight's full game line up.

Kuba Update

It has been confirmed that Filip Kuba suffered a broken right leg on Saturday and he will be sidelined for 5-6 weeks. This will definitely open up a spot on the back end for one of our rookie players, during the pre-season and the opening part of the season. Kuba also missed the start of last season missing eight games and was sidelined during the stretch of the post season.

Bad News as Kuba gets Injured

Filip Kuba has taken an injury to his right leg on the first day of training camp. There has been no update to how serious it may be. He will be going for x-rays tomorrow. This will create more competition as Cowen, Gryba, and Wiercioch will all be fighting for his spot if he can't start the season.  Here's hoping to a quick recovery for Filip Kuba.
